Today’s the first day of HimeCon, a Yuri convention. You’re attending with your girlfriend who’s a vendor in the artist alley. At the convention, you receive a text that ends up changing… everything.
You find yourself back in your childhood home, except this time, something’s amiss— and you’ve got to escape.

This game contains depictions of homophobia, anxiety, mental abuse, hysical abuse and violence, mentions of animal abuse, blood and gore, mentions of vomiting, and may not be suitable for all audiences.
It also contains flashing imagery which may potentially trigger seizures for people with photosensitive epilepsy. Player discretion is advised.
This game was made in one month for the 6th annual Spooktober game jam.

This is one of my favorites from the game jam. The writing is so good, it felt very real and a little triggering because it is so accurate. The art is great and honestly I've got no complaints!

When I saw the thumbnail for this game I was like... wow... this looks scary... I must play it JSLfKGjSHAnd yeah! Mom was REALLY scary! But honestly, I'm surprised that there wasn't more like... jump scares or something. I say surprised, but I'm pleasantly surprised.
I really wanted to check out this game since I was really interested on how it talks about the themes of homophobia with a controlling/helicopter mother. Like, Butterfly Soup but with a horror twist.
And it really delivered! I felt like the cinematography (if that's the right word) was amazing. The transition from the toilet to this abstract reality was really well done. And following that, the chase sequence with the janitor/staff(?) was excellent as well. It really gives you a rush.
Mom coming into your room through the door with the visible sound effect of the door opening was so GOOD... the whole appearance of Mom, with this extra long neck and freaky smile is really spooky. And it gives you a sense of dread like, "I'm scared of her showing up again." Which ties in really well with Everything.
I feel like the ending (the fight) was also well choreographed, the moving arms give Mom a very unnatural feeling. Very spooky.
A really great short game. I feel like it was able to accomplish all it needed within the short amount of time that it took. Good job!!

Hi, I really like this game but I'm not able to finish it. When I am in the 3rd act towards the last part of the act, where the text tells the player to push to breathe, I press the space bar and when the space bar option didn't work, I would right clicked on the mouse instead. But it always sends me to the menu. I have re-downloaded the game and I still have the same problem, I don't know what else to do and I need some help. Am I doing something wrong? What am I doing wrong? I really want to finish this game. I am playing the pc version not mac. Please and thank you.

it's okay, I don't know what else to do because the same thing keeps happening even after your suggestion. I keep getting kicked out to the main menu after act 3 finishes.
I spammed the arrow key as soon as the prompt appeared and it seemed to work then!
